To access your Search Console data, you must be authenticated and authorized. To do this you will need to create a project in the Google console developer<\/a> And get your Client ID and Client Secret.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The easiest way to create Client ID and Client Secret is to use the link to the Google Site Kit site and follow the instructions.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

If you already have a Google API project, remember. enable the Search Console service<\/a>. Otherwise, follow this step-by-step guide to avoid mistakes.<\/p>\n\n\n

Wizard Procedure<\/h2>\n\n\n

<\/p>

  1. Go to Google's developer console<\/strong>

    You can create a Google project for free by going to the console developer<\/a>. <\/p> <\/li>

  2. Click\u00a0Select a project \u279d New Project \u279d<\/strong>\u00a0button\u00a0Create<\/strong>.<\/strong>

    Use an existing project or create a new one.\"\"<\/p> <\/li>

  3. Enter the name of the project \u279d<\/strong>\u00a0click the button\u00a0Create<\/strong><\/strong>

    Enter a name that will help you easily identify your project. You can also use the name of your site.\"\"<\/p> <\/li>

  4. Click the OAuth consent screen in the left menu \u279d choose User type \u279d click the Create button<\/strong>

  5. Add the application name \u279d the support email \u279d the authorized domain \u279d the developer content information \u279d click the Save and Continue button<\/strong>

    This step allows you to set up some basic data about your app that will be shown on the consent screen. The most important step is the one on the authorized URL. Enter your site correctly.\"\"<\/p> <\/li>

  6. Complete all 4 steps on the OAuth consent screen \u279d click the Back to Dashboard button<\/strong>

  7. Go to Credentials \u279d click Create Credentials \u279d select OAuth client ID from the drop-down list<\/strong>

  8. Open the Application Type drop-down list \u279d select Web Application \u279d enter the name of your OAuth 2.0 client<\/strong>

  9. Enter the URL of the site in Authorized JavaScript Origins \u279d in Authorized Redirection URIs, enter the URL of the page to which you want to redirect users after authentication with Google \u279d click the Create button<\/strong>

    Be careful to enter the redirection url correctly in both fields\"\"<\/p> <\/li>

  10. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret<\/strong>

    Copy the data that appears on your screen and enter it into the plugin settings.\"\"<\/p> <\/li>

  11. Go to Enabled Api and Services and Enable Search Console.<\/strong>

    Search the top box for Search Console and enable the associated service.\"\"<\/p> <\/li><\/ol><\/div>\n\n\n

    Publication<\/h2>\n\n\n

    By default, the project will be in \"Testing\" publication status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This means you'll see a warning when you want to authorize the plugin to have access to your Google account (but since you only have to do this once, it's not a problem).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
